It encourages discussions on how languages and literature interact with landscapes, cultures, and identities. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\ud83e\udded Congress Themes &amp; Sub themes<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Participants are encouraged to explore topics such as:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Interactions and conflicts among languages and literatures across countries<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Intersections of nationhood with cultural identities like gender, race, and religion<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Impacts of nation-affirming agendas on cultural expressions<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Indigenous and multicultural contributions reshaping understandings of country and culture<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Decolonization efforts and preservation of languages and cultures<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ecological aspects of places and cultures, including ecolinguistics and ecopoetics<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ontological foundations of comparative language and literature studies<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Concepts of ancient, imagined, and present-day countries<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Countries as narratives, voices, and authors<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Educational challenges related to languages and literatures<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\ud83d\udcdd Call for Proposals<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Proposals are invited for:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Individual Papers:<\/strong> Up to 18 minutes<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Panel Sessions:<\/strong> 85 minutes, including discussion<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Academic Skills Workshops:<\/strong> 85 minutes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Submissions should address the congress theme and include details about participants, presentation type, title, and abstract.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Submission Deadline:<\/strong> September 30, 2025<br><strong>Notification of Acceptance:<\/strong> By November 30, 2025<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Note: This is an in-person event.
