Running from <strong>Monday 20th to Sunday 26th October 2025<\/strong>, the event will be hosted <strong>online<\/strong>, <strong>in cinemas<\/strong>, and <strong>in person in Birmingham, UK<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This year\u2019s focus celebrates the <strong>40th anniversary of Stuart Gordon\u2019s <em>Re-Animator<\/em> (1985)<\/strong>, a milestone in cult horror cinema. Honoring the legacy of <em>Re-Animator<\/em>, the festival will host producer <strong>Brian Yuzna<\/strong> for a <strong>Lifetime Achievement Award<\/strong>, alongside a posthumous tribute to <strong>Stuart Gordon<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A Star-Studded Line-Up and Gothic Reimaginings<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Cult icon <strong>Lynn Lowry<\/strong>\u2014known for <em>Shivers<\/em>, <em>The Crazies<\/em>, and <em>I Drink Your Blood<\/em>\u2014will also receive a <strong>Lifetime Achievement Award<\/strong> and share her career insights in an exclusive streamed session.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In light of the recent success of <strong>Coralie Fargeat&#8217;s <em>The Substance<\/em> (2024)<\/strong>, the festival amplifies its focus on <strong>contemporary body horror<\/strong>.
