Drawing inspiration from R. Murray Schafer\u2019s idea that \u201cthere are no earlids,\u201d the conference proposes that sound remains ever-present, permeating our consciousness, environment, memory, and even academic inquiry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Why Sound Matters in Research<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Sound transcends disciplines\u2014echoing through <strong>media, cultural studies, philosophy, urban design, AI, gender studies, and beyond<\/strong>.
