About the Symposium
The 5th International Scientific Symposium of Pissouri Village will be held on November 14–15, 2025, in the picturesque setting of Pissouri, Cyprus. Hosted at Columbia Beach Resort and the Pissouri Cultural Centre, the event is organized by the Association of Expatriates and Friends of Pissouri, in collaboration with the Cyprus University of Technology and the Pissouri Community Council, and under the auspices of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cyprus.
The symposium centers on the timely and pressing theme:
“Plans for the Resolution of the Cyprus Issue and War Crises – Conflicts Worldwide in the 21st Century.”
Who can attend?
Scholars, researchers, and practitioners are invited to contribute papers on a wide range of thematic areas, including but not limited to:
- Humanities and Social Sciences
- History
- Classical Studies
- Political Science
- Communication Studies
- Media and Journalism
Additional interdisciplinary topics that fall within the broader theme of international conflict and resolution are also welcome.
Languages:
- Primary conference language is Greek.
- An English-language section will be offered if sufficient submissions are received.
