The 2nd European Congress on Disinformation and Fact-Checking will take place in Madrid, Spain, on 29–30 October 2025 in a hybrid format. Following the success of the inaugural event in 2023, this congress aims to bring together leading experts, scholars, journalists, policymakers, and practitioners to address the growing challenges of disinformation in Europe and beyond.
Building on the foundations laid during the first edition, this year’s event will focus on exploring innovative strategies to counter disinformation and strengthen fact-checking practices. With the rise of generative AI and the increasing sophistication of fake content, the congress is positioned as a timely platform for sharing cutting-edge research and practical solutions.
Call for Abstracts
Researchers and professionals from diverse disciplines are invited to submit abstracts that contribute to the discourse on combating disinformation. Opportunities for Contributors
